When we introduced our Cloud Server, we connected your computers, phones, tablets. So they can work together.
We are taking this to the next level: We are now connecting PEOPLE. So you can work with others.
With Online access to the Cloud, we created a multitude of new options:
- Online access to your patient files, when you’re away from your computer.
- A colleague can cover your practice when you’re not available.
- Support for group practices, clinics, and schools.
- All this in a very flexible and safe way!
Cloud online access
Online access to your Complete Dynamics Cloud storage, opens a myriad of possibilities.
We will go through the most important options with some examples
Consult your cases wherever you are
You are away from your computer, but you need access to some of your patient files.
With online Cloud access, you can consult your patient files wherever you have internet access. You don’t need to have the Complete Dynamics software installed, any internet browser will do.
To login to your account, you need your email address, a password, and your Cloud PIN.
Guest account
You can allow other people to access your patient files as well, by creating guest accounts.
There are multiple possibilities to restrict guest access to only what you want the guest to see.
This mechanism is very flexible, as you will see in the examples below.
The guest does not have to be a licensed user of Complete Dynamics, and does not need to have the software installed. Any internet browser will suffice.
Note that a guest account never allows acces to a patient’s personal information, like his address and telephone number.
Locum covering
Harry is going on a holiday, and has asked Linda to cover his practice for him while he is away.
He left a message on his answering machine, with Linda’s telephone number. Harry creates a guest account for Linda. That account will be available only in the period that he will be away. Linda can have access to all patient files of the last six months. She can see the remedy prescriptions, as well as the analyses in the file. Nothing more.
Guest account settings: Date range 1-15 July, group ‘patients’ only, history of 6 months.
24 hours phone support
Charlotte wants her practice to be available at any time. She has subscribed to a service, specialized in homeopathy, that answers her phone outside her office hours.
The guest account allows that service to consult all patient files of the last year, but does not allow access to the analyses. Only the case description, and the remedy prescriptions.
Guest account settings: Group ‘patients’ only, history of 1 year, no analyses.
A group practice
Ben, Jennifer, William and Alejandra together run a group practice. They each have their own patients, but cover for each other when needed. They take turns in phone coverage outside office hours.
Since they share a common interest in certain topics, they like to share some special cases amongst them.In the Complete Dynamics program, they tag these with the category ‘share’.
Each of them creates guest accounts for the three others, allowing access at any time to all their patients and of the cases they want to share.
Guest account settings: Groups ‘patients’ and ‘share’.
A homeopathic clinic
The homeopathic clinic in Aurangabad is run by six doctors. There is one secretary, who needs access to the patients’ remedy prescriptions.
Each doctor creates a guest account for the secretary, allow access to the patient files of the last 5 years, but no detailed information.
All doctors create this guest account with the same login credentials. When the secretary logs into the account, she is offered a choice of which doctor’s accounts to connect to.
Guest account settings: Group ‘patients’ only, history of 5 years, no analyses.
Sharing interesting information with friends
Bernadette does a lot of research. She studies books, and often goes to seminars. She has built up a large collection of homeopathy cases, that many of her friends would like to study as well.
She is happy to share them with others.
So Bernadette creates a guest account. She has tagged all the case files she wants to share as ‘public’, and wants to allow everybody access to all information in that category.
Important in this situation is that multiple people at the same time must be able to use the guest account.Normally, a guest account can only be used on one computer at a time, for safety reasons.
Guest account settings: Group ‘public’, multiple users.
Schools
The New International Homeopathy Institute offers a four year professional training. Each year is made up of three trimesters.
The school has a collection of cases they want to supply to the students. These cases are different for each year and for each trimester. However, certain cases are interesting in multiple trimesters, or in multiple years.
The teachers have tagged all cases with categories year1a, year1b, year1c, year2a, etcetera.
Cases that are valid for multiple trimesters or years, are simply marked with multiple category tags.
Now they create guest accounts. For every year, they create three guest accounts, with the same password. There are three accounts with password ‘year1’, three with ‘year2’, etcetera.
Each of the three accounts per year is assigned a date range for the specific trimester.
When a student logs in, the correct account is automatically selected, based on the date.
Guest account settings for year 1, trimester 1: Password ‘year1’, group ‘year1a’, date range for trimester 1, multiple users.
Guest account settings for year 1, trimester 2: Password ‘year1’, group ‘year1b’, date range for trimester 2, multiple users.
Guest account settings for year 1, trimester 3: Password ‘year1’, group ‘year1c’, date range for trimester 3, multiple users.
Guest account settings for year 2, trimester 1: Password ‘year2’, group ‘year2a’, date range for trimester 1, multiple users.
Etcetera for the other years and trimesters.
